Delete Your Account

You can ask us to delete your TaleStitch account and the data associated with it at any time. TaleStitch is developed by Buffer Labs. You can make the request from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

1. Open TaleStitch and sign in.
2. Go to your Profile tab.
3. Tap the Settings icon.
4. Tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is disabled straight away and you are signed out. You will receive an email within 24 hours confirming your request.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can't use the app, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your TaleStitch account, so we can confirm it's you. Please include your username if you know it.

Or write to bufferlabsstudio@gmail.com with the subject "TaleStitch account deletion request". We will reply to confirm we've received it.

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we delete your account and the data associated with it, including:

• Your profile: name, username, email address, profile picture, gender, and interests
• Stories, chapters, and drafts you created
• Your comments, likes, bookmarks, and follows
• Your reading activity and streak history
• Your notification settings and device notification tokens
• Any remaining credit balance (unused credits are not refundable, as described in our Terms of Service)

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.

What we may keep

• Purchase and transaction records that we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or other legal reasons, for as long as the law requires.
• Limited technical logs that may contain your user ID, kept for a short period for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting, then deleted.

Subscriptions

Deleting your TaleStitch account does not cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play. To stop future charges, cancel it in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

If you'd like specific stories, chapters, or comments deleted while keeping your account, email bufferlabsstudio@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and tell us what you'd like removed.
